Sarah was bitten by the acting bug while in Prep School. After her teacher told Sarah not to play field hockey so she could attend Richard III, she fell in love with acting. Sarah's enthusiasm for performing inspired her to study a double major in English and Theatre at Hamilton College. She was a junior at Hamilton College and studied theater abroad in London as well as Oxford. Sarah was encouraged to study about the arts by her parents. Her mother, who is chairperson of the English Department of the Convent of the Sacred Heart Greenwich CT in addition to her father being a painter. It's clear that her training and talents paid off.
